SeavorChartered

Graeme Seavor, Director at SeavorChartered, approached me to enhance his content and engage his audience. I found that SeavorChartered had an existing, solid audience due to being established in 2015 and providing excellent customer service. However, to better reflect their current success, we needed to update their content. I began working with SeavorChartered in October 2021, this case study provides a brief overview of the progress we have made within a year of working together. 

The strategy

Graeme recognised the need to communicate more effectively with his audience online. I created a comprehensive marketing plan that targeted both their current client base and potential new leads equally. We post twice a week with a mixture of informational, educational, and entertaining posts. All content was designed within brand guidelines using either motion graphics, photography, or graphics. We use a professional yet friendly tone of voice on all captions, with CTA’s including email, phone number, and website links. As accountants, it was essential for the team to convey information in a professional yet friendly manner, while always keeping in mind that they were dealing with people’s finances. 

The look

Although SeavorChartered already had a logo and brand, there were no clear branding guidelines in place that could be carried through to their marketing materials. As part of my role at the company, I developed a style of graphic design that aligned with Seavor’s branding. I then used this style to create a consistent look across all marketing materials, from leaflets to informational booklets. This ensured that Seavor’s brand was accurately represented and reinforced in all its marketing efforts. 

The result

As a result of our efforts, we were able to improve engagement, consistency, and following for the company. Over a period of six months, we were able to increase the average reach of their posts from 54 to 140 and the average likes from 2.5 likes per post to 14.1 likes per post. More importantly, we established a consistent look and feel for their online presence, which helped to reinforce their brand awareness in the area and increase new customers.
